Ashley Lodge is Registered under the Care Standards Act 2000 / The Health and Social Care Act 2008 with the Care Quality Commission. We provide 24 hour care for the long-term accommodation of adults with learning disabilities.
The Registered Manager is supported by a dedicated team of Care Staff who bring a broad mix of training, experience, skills and knowledge to Ashley Lodge, enabling us to provide people with a full complement of the care, support and opportunities that they are entitled to.
Training ensures that employees have opportunities for personal development as well as the skills, knowledge and motivation to maintain the highest standards of care and support. All staff are actively encouraged to work towards achievement of a Diploma in Health & Social Care and all new staff undertake the Skills for Care Induction Standards.
At our last inspection, Ashley Lodge met all Care Quality Commission ("CQC") standards.

Referrals should be addressed to the Registered Manager, who will arrange for assessments. All placements are offered for a six-month trial period and are subject to agreement regarding fees. If this offer is accepted, confirmation of funding is required from the contracting authority, at which point the placement offer is contractually agreed.
Fees are agreed on an individual basis with the contracting authority and are reviewed annually.
Regular review meetings are conducted to ensure that ongoing needs continue to be met and that services are modified appropriately as a individual's needs, abilities and preferences change.
Confidentiality is maintained through following a need to know policy with regard to sharing of information concerning an individual's life-style, well-being, behaviour and progress reviews.
Visitors are welcome at Ashley Lodge anytime and there are facilities across site for people to meet with their guests in privacy.
We encourage family and friends to be part of our multi-disciplinary team and to enjoy many of the social events that we participate in.
We continuously strive to be an Equal Opportunities Provider and Employer and, as such, are committed to ensuring that no unlawful discrimination occurs either directly or indirectly against any person regardless of sex, race, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, or ethnic origin. Unfair discrepancy in receipt of services by Service Users, or opportunities for employment by staff is not tolerated as Ashley Lodge.
